Ohio lawyer Brown faces board ruling over notary fraud
The disciplinary board found that Brown fired Papcke in 1995 after learning of a filed case and that Papcke improperly notarized two affidavits with Brown's signature. It said Papcke's secretary allegedly authorized the signature and that Papcke did not verify authorization. The board also faulted Papcke for not replying to the local board for seven months. A separate age discrimination suit complaint was dismissed. Two Common Pleas judges supported Papcke in letters to the high court.
