Marion Hall eight Olmsted Falls crossed Broad street in front of Wilkins Hurst store when struck by Charles Flowers car. She was knocked down, machine ran over her right foot, taken to hospital for X rays showing no broken bones, then returned home with her mother. Burglars hit old filling station at Oberlin road and West Ave last night stealing five gallon oil can, police report. Knight-for-governor club expenditure totaled 24299 with Congressman Knight giving 8300 and Mrs Knight 1000.

L T Bowell sues American Railway Operating Co seeking commission on gold bond sales and damages for alleged contract breach. He says he sold 46 500 dollars of securities earning 400 dollars in commissions while 1 870 remains due and seeks 2 600 dollars in damages. Amherst man Charles Brucker files answer and cross petition in his divorce from Jennie Brucker. He accuses her of extreme cruelty and long clandestine correspondence with a Cleveland cousin. He alleges she frequently visited him and traveled with him, and asks for a divorce and a ruling barring her from a 20 acre farm. Thunder showers forecast for Ohio Valley and Great Lakes next week with mid week storms.
Frederick L. Bubeler 24 a Brooks electrical wizard claims a device will extract power from air to generate light and energy. Mayor Jones reports a telegram about a 1.5 million dollar fortune left to Edward C. Fox. Officials doubt the tale and caution the family discord and misrepresentation surrounding the supposed inheritance.
An east bound express car detached from its train at the Chestnut street crossing and jumped the track near West avenue and Mill street. The derailment caused damage to oak planking and railway ties and halted traffic for about an hour. A defective journal was blamed for the accident.
Cincinnati police seek Johnson Liebermann after he fled three miles east of Batavia following a quarrel that left his father Frank Liebermann a 52 year old farmer fatally wounded. Liebermann died after being rushed to Cincinnati hospital. Neighbors report the youth told them the father was very sick before he disappeared.
