Judge sues Florida dealer over eBay van sale
Elyria judge Raymond Ewers and wife Mayra Coughlin-Ewers sue General Motor Cars Inc. of St. Petersburg alleging fraud over a 2005 Ford Econoline bought via eBay for 31988.68 dollars. They claim the van lacked promised genuine leather upholstery and mileage was misrepresented.

Waters off Miller Park claim a third victim
Kyle Karkoff 23 from North Ridgeville drowned while swimming at Miller Road Park in Lake Erie near the CEI power plant. His body was found near shore after a long dusk search by police, firefighters, and the Coast Guard. He left notes at home and was described as a non swimmer. The death is ruled accidental. motives unknown. A second and third swimmer had died nearby in July. Funds for the Karkoff Memorial Fund are requested at First Federal banks.
