Carlisle funds case delay stalls trustee review

Action on alleged illegal expenditures by Carlisle Township trustees was postponed for several days due to county budget hearings. The state examiner Anton Bellovek found five areas of improper spending in 1961 to 1965, including six thousand nine hundred thirty five dollars owed to the township, and payments to Ed Witbeck Trucking linked to a trustee. County Prosecutor Paul J. Mikus joins the budget commission in the delay.

Luxaire Blaze Doused After Three Alarm Fire at Elyria Plant
