Man shot dead at drive thru in Lorain Taco Bell robbery
A 49 year old Lorain man, Robert Gnizak, was found dead in a car at the Oberlin Avenue Taco Bell drive thru after a robbery attempt. Police described the suspect as a tall black man in camo clothing who fled on foot. the victim served in the Navy and worked at Super Kmart.

Dump truck strikes and kills worker on Jaycox Road
Avon police report a construction worker was struck and killed in a Jaycox Road zone Monday afternoon. The victim was believed to be directing a dump truck backing into the site when hit. Road closure occurred from Chester to Detroit, reopening about 6 p.m.
