Defense seeks new trial for Cleveland serial killer Sowell
The defense asks for a new trial for Anthony Sowell claiming a juror was disturbed during a site visit and that a juror winked at her during the trial. Sowell, 51, was sentenced to death by Judge Dick Ambrose in Cleveland after the jury found him guilty of murdering 11 women. The verdict and death sentence will be automatically appealed to the state Supreme Court.
