Constance Lea Bartish one and a half year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Ernest Bartish of 613 Jackson street was killed in the circular driveway at the Bauer home on Leavitt road around 2 45 pm. The baby suffered a skull fracture and broken jaw and died at St Josephs Hospital. Burial in Calvary cemetery with services Tuesday at 10 am. The state police continue to investigate. Vermilion Youth, 18, Drowns After Boat Parade
John Mey, 18, of West River Road Vermilion died after dropping from a 36 seat cruiser that won the marine parade. Coast Guards found the body about 30 minutes later. Born in Cleveland March 25 1930 he moved to Vermilion three years ago and worked as a trucker for Englebry Hull Builders Supply Co. He is survived by parents five sisters and four brothers.
