Two bills prompted by trustees and clerks
Lorain County Association of Township Trustees and Clerks secured two bills in the Ohio Legislature. State Sen. Donald Pease cited the bills at a meeting in Elyria. The measures require road repairs after state highway work and provide burial costs up to 250 dollars for those on Aid to Dependent Children or Poor Relief. The association also plans to monitor Lorain County Metropolitan Park Board actions, electing a committee led by Ed Witbeck to receive regular reports. The next meeting is Sept. 18 at 8 p.m. in Darling School with Sheffield Township hosts.
