Elyria Man Sentenced for Drug Trafficking in Local Case
Russell J. Fowler of 355 Furnace St. was sentenced to 425 years in the Ohio State Reformatory after pleading guilty to aggravated trafficking. He turned himself in June 14 following a June 13 grand jury indictment for trafficking charges.

Glenn A Scheimann 32 of Grafton pleaded innocent in Municipal Court to rape and corruption of a minor. He was arrested at his home and held in Lorain County Jail for acts with four male youths ages 15 to 17 from 1981 to 1983 at Park Meadow Apartments where he managed a Little League program.
