Four-H Club Picnic Draws 400 At Cascade Park

Boy Flier Plans Non-Stop Flight

Wild Man on Rampage Again Recaptured in Lorain Co
Lorain County reports a second "wild man" terrorizing residents last night near Butternut Ridge and Indian Hollow roads. Blaze Destroys Farm Buildings Near Columbia
A fire at Mrs Sophia Youkevitz north of Columbia Station destroyed a barn and several outbuildings storing hay grain and tools. About 100 bushels of grain, straw and hay burned, along with a truck tractor and other equipment. Neighbors aided firefighters and kept the blaze from reaching the house. The farm is run by the owner's sons. Mrs Youkevitz lives in Elyria. Buildings were insured but machinery and contents lacked coverage.

Two Men Held For Lorain Beating
Two Cleveland men were being held by Cleveland police in connection with the kidnapping and beating of three Lorain youths who said four gunmen threatened to shoot them unless they confessed to hijacking a truckload of whiskey from a Lorain liquor wholesaler. White Way lights cut to half to cut costs
