Women names circle Coolidge civil service panel
President Coolidge may name a woman to the civil service commission succeeding the late Helen Hamilton Gardener. Prominent candidates include Rose Yates Forrester, head of women’s work for the Democratic National Committee, and Rev Rupert Holloway, a Blooming-ton Unitarian pastor who won a prize for a film industry criticism and will travel to Hollywood this fall with expenses paid.
