Nurse error halts DUI evidence in fatal crash case
Lorain County judge threw out blood alcohol test results for William Conley after nurse Heather Rowe failed to seal and initial evidence tape on the sample tube. The crash on February 18, 2007, killed Rodney Baker when Conley allegedly crossed center on Oberlin Avenue in Lorain, with the test showing 0.256 BAC. Prosecutors said the lab no longer retains the test box, complicating the case.
