Nabakowski urges backers to commit to I-71 to Ohio Turnpike corridor

Amherst Democrat former state senator Ron Nabakowski pressed governor hopefuls Bob Taft and Lee Fisher in letters Tuesday to commit to building a North South Corridor linking I 71 with the Ohio Turnpike. Amtrak expands daylight trains to Elyria and beyond

Amtrak will add daytime service to Elyria starting November seven, with The Pennsylvanian running daily Philadelphia to Chicago stopping in Elyria at 6 16 p m westbound and 12 39 p m eastbound. Stops include Alliance Cleveland Sandusky Toledo Bryan. Don J Pease of Oberlin praises the improved schedule and daytime boarding.
