Drowning Mystery After 19-Year-Old Found in Lake Erie
Elyria man David Bennett 19 of 228 Bath St is drowned off the east pier in Lorain. Coroner Dr William Kishman cites no head injury or heart attack and autopsy is pending. Investigators note witnesses say he behaved oddly before the accident as divers were nearby and others swam nearby. This marks the third Lorain area drowning this year with earlier victims at Lakeview Beach.

Two Akron men drowned near the Cleveland Electric Duminating Co. plant after their 16 foot motorboat sank about 15 yards from shore in Lake Erie.
