Refugee feud grips Seadrift as mediators seek peace
In Seadrift Texas about 100 Vietnamese refugees who fled fear of local fishermen have mostly returned but stay in a trailer park near a crab plant. Mediation by Peter Van Tho and Robert Alexander aims to end the feud rooted in unwritten territorial fishing rights, which has included a shooting death and arson against Vietnamese boats and homes.
