Trains collide near Sloatsburg, 40 injured, five dead reported

Norwalk Man Injured In Blast At Local Office
A 38 year old Norwalk man, Tom Stogner, janitor for Norwalk Truck Lines, was hospitalized in critical condition with first and third degree burns after an explosion and flash fire at the company offices on Gray Street. Firefighters battled the blaze for about 30 minutes before extinguishing it. Officials say the blast likely involved flammable fluids and fumes. Continued on Page 2.
