Legislature To Have Many New Members
The incoming Ohio Legislature in January will feature many new faces, especially in the State Senate, due to retirements and renomination defeats. The anti and pro Davey factions both saw casualties, with key leaders Keith Lawrence and Verner Metcalf leaving Senate roles. Several incumbents and former members face renomination losses, and many House members are listed among Senate nominees, signaling a broad turnover in state government.
