Chancellorship To Be Offered Hitler Friday
Berlin reports that President von Hindenburg will offer Adolf Hitler the chancellorship of Germany on Friday following a tense sequence of events. Hindenburg plans four conditions including respect for the constitution, nonuse of the Nazi militia for police work, no equal status with the Reichswehr, and no party government relying on paramilitary support. Victory for Hitler seems unlikely as negotiations aim to keep Nazi involvement limited.
