Sleep guidance for children in summer
London reports Dr. W. E. Porter of Wood Green warns that delaying bedtimes by half an hour or more in summer harms children. He notes many are undernourished, listless, and small, stressing crowded homes, summer activities, and late dinners as factors. He links sleep loss to restless nerves and enamel-like conditions.
