Rural water adviser urges 1.3 million in improvements

LAGRANGE The engineer advising the Rural Lorain County Water Authority recommends 1.3 million dollars in upgrades. Proposals include a new 500000 dollar pumping station at North Ridgeville, adding four pumps at Avon Lake for 75000, adjusting five pumps for 50000, and laying 22000 feet of 16 inch main for 550000. The plan also contemplates a parallel 24 inch line for southern Lorain County or a joint 36 inch line with nearby cities within five years.
