Western Reserve Bond Issue Again On Ballot

Voters in the Western Reserve School District will decide for the fifth time on a 700000 bond issue for a new high school. The board approved placing the measure on November ballots to fund a fouryear building on Harland Center Road near Wakeman with a 46 mill tax for 74 years. Wakeman incumbents Cahfield and Dalton opposed, citing site concerns after Kent State recommendations placed the school near the district center. The existing high school remains in Wakeman.
