Auto Crash Fatal To 6 In Livermore Calif

Six people died when a car suspected of a hit run sped down US 50, crossed the dividing strip, and crashed head on with an oncoming sedan near Livermore California. Lt Col Clarence E B Fisher 39 Castle AFB pilot his wife Faye 33 and two children aged 1 and 6 died. A third child was critically injured. The other car carried Paul F Lockett 40 Hayward and his wife Pauline 38 a Naval shipyard guard. The Lockett car speedometer showed 80 mph.

In Canton Ohio a 24 hour siege ended Friday night as three gunmen surrendered to 100 officers after tear gas was fired into the Fenstermaker home.
