President Coolidge accepted the presidency of the American National Red Cross today in Washington. The post was tendered by Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Elliott Wadsworth, and Coolidge accepted, continuing a tradition of presidents holding the role for many years.
A chaotic Wasi Heights courtroom confrontation ended with a man identified as Roberts shooting his wife Mink and firing on a responding officer.
