Eight persons died in a head on collision on Ohio 41 north of Washington Court House Ohio. The crash involved two cars carrying four people each. Firemen washed away spilled gasoline as crews used tools to free victims. Washington AP Congress prepared to approve a fight if we must resolution backing presidential action in Southeast Asia. The measure affirms bipartisan support for any steps Johnson deems necessary to meet Communist aggression in Viet Nam and preserve independence in the region. The House and Senate planned swift votes, reflecting a recurring pattern of wartime support in 1955 1957 and 1962.
