Ten youths allegedly torch bench at Washington Elementary
About ten juveniles were believed to set fire to a bench on the Washington Elementary School playground in Lorain Friday evening. Firefighters extinguished the blaze around 7 30 p m causing several thousand dollars in damage to the bench mulch and nearby fencing. A neighbor saw youths near the playground with a lighter.
