Water Boom Driven by Taste Edges Elyria Water Craving
Elyria residents flock to spring water vendors Cherry Knoll Waters of Amherst and White House Artesian Springs in Elyria as algae taints local supply. Owner Robert Gwinner reports 6,000 gallons sold at Cherry Knoll last week, up 1,000 from the prior week, while White House owner Wayne Baus notes rising demand. The heat and taste issues spur fuelling thirst this summer.
