Avon Lake woman honored at pink and blue show
Mrs. Elaine Kuttler of Parma was feted at her mother’s home on Lear Road during a pink and blue show. Hostesses were her sisters in law Fred Burmeister Marvin Burmeister and Calvin Burmeister. 14 guests from Parma Independence Cleveland and Avon Lake attended. The Kuttlers formerly lived in Avon Lake. Mr. Kuttler teaches industrial arts at Parma High School.

Designer Tells Men Not To Worry About Dior Fashion
United Press reports designer Bill Thomas, covering Jane Russell’s curves for a new film, says men need not worry about Christa Dior and her Jean-topped gowns. He notes Dior’s line favors covered silhouettes, and Russell preferred modest, dressed looks for the June wardrobe. Thomas recalls a Paris trip to scout French fashions for Hollywood use. He also comments on strapless necklines and silhouettes, while REA approves four million nine hundred sixty-six thousand dollars in electric loan aid nationwide to improve existing power systems.
