Two Lorain youths sworn as Midshipmen at Naval Academy
Russelll Tadych aged 17 of Avan Lake and Donald A Downing aged 18 of Lorain were sworn in as Midshipmen at the U S Naval Academy Annapolis Md. They undergo plebe summer training to learn navy basics and academy life before joining the Brigade of Midshipmen in fall. Erie County 62 tax report totals and unpaid amount
Erie County real estate tax collections for the last half of 1962 totaled 2 793 812. Vir ginia Grathwol county treasurer announced Friday. Of the amount 1 642 941 was collected in the county and 1 152 870 in Sandusky. Unpaid taxes and assessments are about 10 percent, the treasurer said. The total unpaid real estate tax is 332. The entire year 1962 collection was 6 351 833 with 3 629 966 in the county and 2 701 866 in Sandusky. In 1961 the total was 5 882 595 23.
