Obituary honors Samuel Donald Janitor husband of Alma Miller and father of three children. Born in Beatty Pennsylvania, he moved to Elyria in 1902 and worked as a foreman for The National Tube Company. He died August 1st 1926 aged 41 years 8 months 24 days from Angina Pectoris after a hotel stop in Jackson Michigan while returning from Wisconsin. Funeral attended by company men and his pastor Rev Muir Auld officiated. He belonged to First Congregational Church and King Solomon's Lodge. The obituary notes his striking personality, fairness, kindness, and friendship with colleagues.
