Four Sentenced For Possession Of Explosives
WARREN Aug. 4 Con mon Pleas Judge Lynn B. Griffith today fixed sentences at one to 20 years in the Ohio penitentiary against four of seven men who pled guilty to charges of illegal possession of explosives in an alleged bombing plot against the Republic Steel Corporation during the steel strike. Those sentenced were Arthur Scott Sidney Watkins Charles Byers and Joseph Orwelek. Griffith suspended the sentences of Andrew Marsh and George Bundas and deferred the sentence of John Borawetez. Gus Halil a steel worker organizing committee leader at Warren when the strike began on May 26 1g is indicted for the same offense. His trial is scheduled for September. He is free on bond.

Four Victims Of Lake Road Crash Recover
Four injured people from the Lake Road automobile crash that killed one were listed as fair or good at St. Joseph's Hospital in Lorain. CHICAGO Aug 4 A man who said he was the father of 31 month old Donald Horst surrendered the infant unharmed to authorities after a nightlong search. John and Lydia Regan claimed the child born to Mrs Regan out of wedlock, said the Horsts had left him in their care, and fled with Fred Evert driving. The couple entered the state's attorney's office with Assistant State's Attorney Wilbur Crowley to turn over the baby on Chicago's west side. The baby was then questioned with officials at the county building.
