Miss Edith Springer of Camden Center was killed instantly near Bates Corner last night around eleven o'clock. Her companion Miss Ella Hermann suffered a broken collar bone and another autoist sustained a broken leg. John Fenwick, driving too fast toward Toledo, was said to have overturned the party, throwing him from the vehicle. He was removed from hospital to his Cleveland home.

Fire destroys sixteen horses at Norwalk fair grounds
Dava Jackson of Greenwich suffered severe burns after a barn fire on the Huron County Fair grounds in Norwalk Ohio killed sixteen race horses scheduled for the County Fair.
