North Ridge Road Girl Injured When Hit By Automobile
Eight year old Joan Croyle, daughter of Mr and Mrs H W Croyle of North Ridge Road, was seriously injured Saturday night when struck by a car driven by Emma Hartwig of Lorain while walking near her home. She suffered a fractured shoulder and possible internal injuries, was taken to Amherst Hospital and later moved to St Josephs Lorain for X rays. The girl and another child had been shopping at a wearby store when the accident occurred after she darted into the road.

Fire at Pataskala threatens entire village
A blaze that wiped out a two story gasoline station and a three story warehouse elevator menaced Pataskala Ohio for part of Sunday. Loss on the two structures was placed at 8900 dollars.
