Damages Slight In Two Fires In Cleveland
Fire damage was averted at Alvin Snack’s home on East avenue when a burning cigarette set a cushion aflame and Snack, asleep, threw the cushion out. Man collapses in Ely Park and sustains chin laceration
James Gamey a 21 year old resident of Oregon collapsed while walking through Ely Park yesterday. He struck the sidewalk and suffered a severe chin laceration. Police took him to the hospital for treatment then to a restaurant for a meal before he spent the night at police headquarters.

Thieves broke into the American Legion Home on Ohio Street between 4 and 5 AM and escaped with about 56 cents in cash, roughly 306 dollars in checks, cigars, and tobacco valued at 15 dollars.
