Williamsburg Fire Destroys Furniture Plant In Ohio

Aug 3. Volunteer bucket brigades saved Williamsburg Ohio from total ruin as the Williamsburg Furniture plant burned. The blaze destroyed the main plant causing an estimated 70000 dollars loss and threatened two Standard Oil tanks, the railroad station, and nearby buildings. A Cincinnati fire engine arrived to extinguish flames around a benzine tank adjacent to the plant after the fire started from a hot box in the factory.
