Billboard Collapse Kills Three Workers at Georgia Mall
In Snellville Georgia a 35000 pound billboard under construction collapsed at a suburban Atlanta shopping center. Three workers died as the sign buckled and fell about 40 feet. A fourth worker was rescued and hospitalized in good condition. Electrician Clyde Elrod, 37, was among the deceased. The billboard was designed to rotate three advertisements.
