Minister Blasts Sheppard Case Investigators
The Rev. Alfred C. Kreke, pastor of Bay Methodist Church, condemned the Cleveland murder probe into Marilyn Sheppard as a medieval inquisition. He said authorities conduct a coroner's inquest with a publicity driven, McCarthy like atmosphere and accused investigators of persecuting the family. He urged the congregation that questioning suggested a trial rather than an objective inquiry.
