Avon residents sue Avon over zoning ordinance
Three Avon residents sue in Lorain County Common Pleas Court alleging City Council illegally passed a July 3 zoning ordinance without public hearings. The suit seeks a declaration of residents rights and a restraining order to prevent further ordinances without hearings. a referendum petition is planned. Avon Mayor says changes update zoning to match growth and have been discussed for years.

Oberlin Figures Observation of Soviet Dissents During Moscow Trip
