Young guns enjoy successful weekend in Ohio turkey hunt
Ohio ODNR reports 1,519 youths age 17 and under hunted wild turkeys statewide during a two day youth-only weekend, led by Coshocton County with 63 birds. Opening day totals show 2,285 bearded turkeys statewide, with Guernsey County leading at 90. The four week season runs through May 23 with a two bearded turkey limit, one per day.
