Clean air action urged by group
The Ohio Public Interest Research Group told a federal appeals court that the EPA must enforce Clean Air Act requirements and issue operating permits for major Ohio polluters. It urged the court to vacate the EPA decision and push Ohio to comply within 18 months or allow federal enforcement. Ohio scores poorly in State of the Air 2004 due to fine particle pollution.
