Canasta wild cards and black threes rulings explained
In Uruguay wild cards from the discard pile may join wild card melds to form canastas, with a wild canasta worth 2000 points. Two black threes with a wild card do not create a legal meld. only three or four black threes without wilds may meld when going out. Duplicate sevens melds are allowed, and extra cards may be added to completed canastas for more points. The Queen of Spades earns the Black Lady title in Hearts, not related to canasta. Charles Goren did not originate the point count system. Milton Work did.
