May trial hush falls as jurors kept in room

Washington jurors in the Andrew J May retrial faced a wary hush after rumors of a defense fix circulated. Judge Schwainhaut ordered jurors to remain in a designated room during recesses and barred free roaming before sessions, while they were told to ignore outside chatter about the case. The warning followed Charles Margiotti reporting rumors he heard from a newspaper man about possible ‘fixing’.
