Strickland releases income figures for reelection bid
Gov. Ted Strickland and wife report a four year combined income of 162 450 per year with most from salary and a 30 000 congressional pension. He paid about 22 000 in taxes annually and repaid 31 682 for health care costs. Strickland pressed Kasich to release 10 years of tax returns amid a clash over finances and leadership. Kasich, by contrast, disclosed 2008 earnings near 590 000 as a Lehman Brothers managing director, with no golden parachute after the collapse.
