Lois I Frye nee Sharp 95 of Fort Lauderdale Florida died April 25 2009. She was born March 20 1914 to Alfred and Ursula Sharp and taught at Firelands School while active in NEA and NECTA. She owned McCarthy's News Stand on Las Olas Blvd with her daughter and left a legacy in Wellington and Margate communities. Jennie Daly born August 4 1915 in Lorain lived in the Elyria area most of her life. She belonged to Cross Community Church Elyria active in women’s ministries and grandchildren. She is survived by sister Mary Felty and brother Joseph Gonda. preceded in death by husband Clarence 2004 and daughter Patricia Ann Daly. Donna Garthe-Sargent, 75, of Amherst, died April 26 2009 after a brief illness at New Life Hospice in Lorain. Born November 18 1933 in Toledo she grew up with surrogate parents William and Ella Garthe. She worked as a radiology technician and bank staffer retiring in 1995 and was active in Family Fellowship Foursquare Church and various women’s groups. Burial in Ridge Hill Memorial Park. Memorials to the Donna Garthe Fund at Lorain National Bank.

She is survived by daughter Beverly Cordisco and husband Frank of Estero Florida son Richard Martin and wife Cynthia of Butler Ohio grandsons Todd Jason Jeremy Justin and Jonathan and seven great grandchildren.
