Mental health levy in Lorain County faces further cuts
Elyria officials warn that a failed five-year 1.2 mil levy could trigger deeper service cuts across four public mental health agencies. The plan, Issue 1, would raise about $3 million yearly for programs, staff, and new services including elderly care and in-patient treatment, with funds allocated to restore cuts and offset inflation.
