PWP Invites Public to May Club Activities
Parents With Out Partners invites prospective members to a series of May activities. Events include family suppers at L and K Restaurant and Burger Chef, social gatherings at homes of Jean Briggs and June Benyai, tea with speaker Mrs. Norma Higgins on retarded children, a Christ Episcopal Church discussion on The Single Parent, a Barefoot in the Park stage production by Black River Players, and a Oberlin College Chorus concert with proceeds from a May 10 record hop benefiting Lorain County Center for the Sightless.

Local couple wed at St. Agnes Church in Lima
John Connaughton and Joanne M. Puka exchanged vows April 2 at 2 p.m. in St. Agnes Church with Rev. William J. Zupancic officiating. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph S. Puka, wore a wedding gown and reception followed at Spring Valley Country Club. The groom is a Notre Dame and Michigan Law graduate employed by Connaughton and Weger Law Office. the couple plans to reside in Lima after a Virgin Islands honeymoon. Bridal showers were hosted by several relatives and friends.
