Centennial contest draws crowd with number puzzle
A town celebration committee replaces raffles with cash prize games. An announcer presents a board numbered one to ten, erases two numbers, and players pick three remaining numbers whose sum times product equals a third of the product. The cashier’s daughter solves it and wins ten times the sum in dollars. The article lists six possible three-number combinations and asks for the winning trio and prize.
