He backs new legislation giving the labor secretary authority to publicize union financial records amid a string of tornado and flood damage across Texas Nebraska and Michigan.
Baghdad dispatch reports Moscow backed volunteers may enter Syria if war erupts with Arab neighbors. Iraq mobilizes troops near Jordan frontier while King Hussein demands Syria withdraw 3000 plus forces. An 18 year old Berlin Heights girl Miss Bristol was abducted while walking home near Berlin Heights. She was found later in shock at Memorial Hospital and is under observation. Authorities say no assault was reported and recall she walked with two men in a car prior to the incident. The town awaits official statements as the search continues.
