Mrs Carmine Jenkins 29 formerly of Brdoit Wi 5 died today from injuries after falling from an apartment window during a party scene. Police say a salesman at the Fishes Paper Company admitted drinking heavily and improvised a sling to lower the woman, who slipped and fell to a concrete court below sustaining skull fracture and a broken leg.
An early morning traffic crash near Jamaica Ear left two dead including 28 year old Alice Fenn and 24 year old Florence Causler. Police report a speed vehicle collided with another, killing both occupants and injuring two others.
The next criminal court trial involves Mrs Hervey Kaiser, indicted on a manslaughter charge for shooting her husband as he entered a room. She remains in jail after failing to post 2500 bond.

Burglars broke into the Capitol Thea tre office early this month and robbed the office safe of 81400. Entrance was gained through a shadow at the back of the office. A sea ladder was used to reach the door. Small pane broken out enabled entry. Tools were left behind. The janitor found the burglar this morning. This marks the theatre’s third robbery in two and a half years, says Police Chief Stadkach.

New York April 21 A burglar who grabbed a salesman as he dragged him to the street was dragged onto a fire escape and plunged two stories to his death. Witnesses say the burglar arose and fled as the man clung to his attacker. The killer died instantly when both fell. Police hunt for the burglar who fought with the salesman.
Governor Austin Pear urged the public to aid in rounding up alleged moonshine ring members accused of killing Tom Evans, a member of a local Vigilante organization. Sheriff and attorney general pledged action and warned of risks from moonshine factions.
Columbus April 6 report says a inmate died and three others were in critical condition after a prison brew mixing fruit juices with wood alcohol stolen from a soap works was served. Other inmates, including Ernest Adams and James Kennedy, remain ill or in hospital as investigators probe the smuggling of the poison beverage into cells.

In Carteret North Carolina April 26 a mob of white men burned a Negro church and forced about one hundred Black residents from homes in the colored district. The violence followed the slaying of a white man and injuring another in an earlier altercation, with masks and sticks seen among some attackers. Police and firemen were unable to stop the mob as the church building burned while surrounding homes were left untouched.
April 26 meeting in the office of Service Director Walkram I Pietcher discussed immediate construction of the 150000 sanitation reduction plant of the William G Morrison company of Capsion near Amherst. In Canton on April 36, Roby Ve Tee, an employee at the Veal Company plant, was killed when a 2464 pound drop hammer struck his head while he worked near a stamping machine. The hammer hung about 12 inches above the base when not in use. Several workers could not explain why Roby’s head was under the hammer or how it disengaged to crush him.
