Study finds cell 911 calls poorly located nationwide
A public safety group report shows wireless location tech for 911 calls often misses by large margins. APCO LOCATE tested seven communities and found one carrier failed to meet 300 meter targets in multiple counties while others hit 150 meter goals only parts of the time.
