Falls man seeks repeal of parks levy after misrepresentation
Falls Water Street resident Richard Bak told Falls City Council he will pursue a referendum to repeal the i mill Parks and Recreation levy passed last November. He blamed council for no general fund money for parks this year and said the measure was misrepresented as maintenance. Council President Rose Rosul supports the referendum, while Councilwoman Beverly Smith says the word maintenance was required by the Board of Elections though not intended by the Parks and Recreation Board.
